Experienced Quality Assurance Manager with over 30 years experience in the various types of manufacturing environments. During my career I have mentored and coached various departments ranging from operations, quality control, along with manufacturing and design engineers. I have always approached leadership with a team building concept encouraging new ideas and open conversation amongst my colleagues. When asked about deviating on product quality I always go to the basics and ask myself or the person requesting info "Would I or you buy the product as is?" This typically needs no further response as the employee starts to think "How can I correct this?". In most cases they just needed the additional push to think outside the box and find the solution.
