As of right now, I am a Senior Product Owner for Majesco, operating out of Buffalo, NY. In this role, I work on the tactical execution of the product roadmap on both a day-to-day and short term basis. Upon gathering the 6 month to 3 year goals from our Product Manager, I actively work on getting them specified out, reviewed and estimated by development, planned, executed, and deployed. The team I work with operates on a 2 week sprint basis and I actively plan approximately 550 hours of development and 250 hours of quality assurance per sprint. At the end of each major version being released (2 per year), I am actively involved in the product regression and go to market strategy.Before Majesco acquired Utilant, LLC, I worked at Utilant, LLC under a few different roles: Product Owner, Manager of Business Analysis, and Business Analyst (BA). During my tenure here, I worked help implement various carriers onto our platform, wrote specification documents on module enhancements that earn over $500,000 of reoccurring revenue per year, managed a team of 10 individual business analysts, and helped move product roadmap along. In the recent past, I was an OP&D (Operational Planning and Delivery) Associate for BlueCross BlueShield of WNY (Parent is HealthNow NY), a healthcare company. At this role, I acted as a utility player for the various teams under the OP&D Department. My role changed every day, from acting as a Business Analyst for a project, to being the Project Analyst for another project, or supporting a Project Manager.Before that, I was a SharePoint Analyst Intern for BlueCross BlueShield of WNY and a front-end developer and GUI (design, HTML, CSS) intern for both Rounded Development and Syracuse University. I’m truly passionate about my work and am always eager to connect with others. While I enjoy all aspects of my jobs, I think my favorite stage of a project is working with a group or client to discuss what the correct solution should be and then seeing it through. Even though I love to develop, I strive when I get to interact and help others.I currently have a degree from Syracuse University in Information Management and Technology and Managerial Accounting (dual degree).
