Coding and software development is my passion as it inspires me to constantly be in a state of humility, forward thinking and a growth mind set. Problem solving under high levels of stress, as well as with extremely high stakes, is a skill that has taken years to cultivate and one I am proud to say I embrace constantly. Being a previous Director of Addiction Recovery facilities has taught me that with patience and attention to details, you can accomplish anything. I believe this, as well as the ability to manage, interact, include and provide for people from all walks of life are all skills that I plan to take with me on this lifelong journey!At its core, I love building software applications. I have experience building applications using Object Oriented Programming (Ruby on Rails, Node.js/Express.js), Test Driven Development, API exposure and consumption as well as collaborative and comprehensive version control (Git/Github). I utilize effective decision making while using an Agile workflow and scrum practices. I have a dedication to troubleshoot complex issues relating to MVC model, database schemas, object oriented programming; focusing on scalability, effective algorithms and integration.
