Responsibilities include flying to foreign/domestic work sights of major retailers where opening ultimately takes place a few weeks after the initial store set up. Pre-visit the store location verifying any potential problems for the following morning/evening’s delivery. Perform a QC check for installation of store fixtures. Meets: the delivery crew (locals) and Supervisor and/or PM (8-12 men + Supervisor) on-site following arrival depending on access to the store/mall. Communicates: the requirements on the “fixture day” when all fixtures would be delivered, unboxed, assembled, placed and made ready for new store team and merchandise. Most stores will open a few weeks after PM departure.Oversees: new store fixtures packaged in the Midwest are shipped to the local agent in the city or country where installation will ultimately take place. It is then delivered at their designated time and location, unloaded into the their warehouse, until the prearranged meeting. Personally responsible for the diagram and schematics of store layout used as a guide determining the final presentation of a finished build out and store set up.Liaison between the local General Contractor (GC), transportation company, store Manager, building management, local security and new store team (8-10 men) that travel and set-up stores. Schedules the team to finish in 6-8 hours beginning usually at 8 AM or 9 PM and in some cities not ending until early the next day. Coordinates the moving team for unpacking and assembly of tables, trees, T-stands, and mannequins, and accessories. Within 6-8 hours, all the fixtures are unloaded, semi-assembled, fixtures placed according to store layout, performed minor touch up on scratched items (shipment), and placed all items according to the customer’s specifications.Oversight of the paper work showing exceptions, damages, and surplus items that will be returned to store where the GC will sign off upon receipt.

Led a team that created and developed a new logistics business unit in 1999. Managed process and procedure development and implementation, internal and external business relationships, reporting, contract review and implementation, claims investigation and cost savings. Created mode optimization strategies to several verticals including integrated reverse logistics for electronic asset disposal to many Fortune 500 clients. Responsible for managing LTL, truck load, expedited air freight for multi-million dollar division. Proven ability to grow revenues quickly while strengthening customer relationships with double digit growth each of the 4 years as a Director.
