The FAA's Technical Operations' Facilities and Engineering Services directorate oversees a nearly $1.0B capital project portfolio and is responsible for sustaining the over 12,000 FAA facility infrastructure sites.The Strategic Management Group guides enterprise-wide capital sustainment by prioritizing projects to minimize our operational risk. We also give the Directorate insight to the state of facility portfolio condition by curating a high-quality facility asset database accessible by all planners, engineers, and leadership.
