System IV&V Lead, (2003 – 2008), for US Navy Under Sea Warfare (USW) Combat System & CORES Under Sea Warfare (USW) Japanese Combat System. • Performed all leadership responsibilities for integration and formal test of the US SQQ89 USW baselines.• Maintained customer delivery schedules to ships, and land based shore sites.• Performed pier side and at sea system installations and system demonstration/validations.• Coordinated weekly meetings with Navy customer, and subcontract team members.• Responsible for subcontractor delivery of CORES HW cabinets for Japanese Sonar Systems.• Team leader for development and formal test of SW suite to perform system resource and performance management of the CORES system through formal sell off.Project Leader, for the US Navy Under Sea Warfare (USW) Combat System (2000 – 2002) and US Marine CORP AN/TPS-59 tactical missile defense radar (1996-2000) upgrades. • Software re-engineering and enhancement of 100,000+ lines of legacy SONAR training SW to a fully open COTS system and re-hosting to LINUX operating system. • SW subcontractor management for outside vendor development of radar SW and SW validation.• Lead design engineer and author for a $2M engineering change proposal to redesign radar operations shelter equipment racks, incorporating backup UPS system, and upgraded computer workstation HW/SW and network technologies.• Performed Y2K analysis, proposal, and formal implementation for the AN/TPS-59 Radar System. This Y2K upgrade was recognized by the USMC as “Model Y2K Program” and used as a USMC example for other programs by customer.
