There is something to be said about the complexities of being a unique individual in a society filled with other complex, unique individuals. Learning to navigate through the thick of an industry, picking and choosing whom to employ and whom to pass up can be daunting to say the least. I want to do my best to help you gather enough insight to see who I am. Even though this is only a small snippet of who I am, I believe I can give you a glimpse into whom you could be working with.I am a graduate of Louisiana State University. I studied mass communication with a concentration in digital advertising, minoring in communication studies and leadership development. I chose these areas of study because I want to be a storyteller. I want to move an audience in such a way that they can remember how a brand made them feel. I chose my minors because I've always been told I have a way with words, and I wanted to understand more of what comes naturally to me while also bettering my own development. My undergrad career led me to also become involved in honor societies and other extracurriculars that added to my own set of skills. I was in the Phi Theta Kappa alumni honor society, served as president for the Tau Sigma Honor Society, and contributed to the Transfer Student Leadership Institute at LSU. I'm an LSU Distinguished Communicator, and I served on LSU's CxC Advisory Council.While in school, I also explored my work ethic. Even though I was a full-time student, I still had bills to pay and keep my resources open. I held down three jobs the majority of my time in college, which led to me accumulating more than 10 years of hospitality experience both pre and post-undergrad. I am stronger now than I ever was because of my work ethic.Something random about me is that I truly love to sew. I have been working on developing my skills in my off-time. Sewing requires patience and attention to detail. So far, it has helped me develop traits I have been meaning to hone in on since I have struggled with patience in the past. It's helped me learn how to work with myself and that I am my own toughest critic. I feel that people are genuinely the same when it comes to their own work and I love to uplift, encourage, and aid other people to help them develop their own skills as well. Whether it is sewing or working in a professional capacity, I want to help people as much as I can to feel that they are capable of more than what they limit themselves to.Want to see more about me?
