Serves as the subject matter expert for developing North American Facility Standards. Also responsible for researching building industry trends, automotive plant trends, and past issues to introduce innovation and improvements. Responsibilities include the following:- Creating and maintaining North American building standards/specifications.- Supporting the North American Subject Matter Expert related to mechanical and electrical systems.- Collaborating with external stakeholders to finalize Toyota Standards for business systems.- Managing multiple standards simultaneously to ensure quick completion.- Presenting findings to internal and external resources.

Working under the direction of the Project Manager and the respective market EVP or VP, assists in managing the project from start to finish (including scheduling, estimating, budgeting, reporting, and attending weekly jobsite meetings). Perform quantity take off(s), cost estimates, and bid solicitations, conduct research, and negotiate prices/trades with subcontractors and vendors to meet scope specifications. Purchase and coordinate delivery of materials to the jobsite as well as managing the project by completing monthly red files, progress reports, and billing statements.
