Additionally, he has strong critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills with a talent for influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholdersPrior to Communities Southwest, Lehmann was Principal of Tallwave Capital, an Arizona-based venture capital fund specializing in Seed and follow-on Series A investments in early-stage technology companies. Lehmann has also served as Managing Director for Biltmore Bank of Arizona, a local business bank serving the needs of Arizona’s small and mid-sized enterprises. In this capacity he developed and implemented strategic plans, managed and optimized the human resources function, developed and built marketing and branding programs, and successfully developed and managed new client relationships. Lehmann was a key part of the executive management team.Before joining Biltmore Bank Lehmann spent seven years in New York working in a variety of positions within advertising and branding. His many assignments taught him to adapt quickly to a wide variety of business situations. Lehmann has a BA from Middlebury College, and an MBA with Distinction from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He started in Nepal working for BuildOn, a non-profit focused on promoting education and literacy in developing countries around the world.
