Working with external consultant, Tableau and SQL Server 2016 have been built up for a new Data Warehouse Architecture. The topics across all departments mainly Risk management, Credit Acceptance, Controlling P&L, Delinquency Rate, Collection analysis, Sales performance etc.

Following six years working at Allianz, Greg set up his own consultancy, providing business consultancy in the areas of data warehousing and business intelligence.

As Data Warehouse Manager at Allianz, Greg’s role sat within the Business Intelligence function of the company (so outside of the IT function). He reported to the COO. His role combined data management and data analytics. Key responsibilities and experience: • Led a huge variety of Business Intelligence projects, from initial proposal through to setup, implementation, monitoring and analysis • Implementation and maintenance / documentation of the Data Warehouse for the company • Also extensively involved in Data Warehouse user training • After initial set-up, focused on Data Warehouse enhancement, particularly in the area of data mining methodology and embedding this into the business intelligence framework • Responsible for a range of analysis (using R & OLAP Cubes) to provide insightful data to stakeholders throughout the business • By the time he left the company, Allianz’s Data Warehouse covered two main businesses (Roadside Assistance and Travel Insurance), with around 100 users in the business, and was accessed tens of thousands of times per year
