I was with the company for almost 6 years and helped manage 3 different Salesforce instances. We had daily scrums that support our agile development process and utilize Bitbucket and SFDX to manage our source control process and CI. I also utilized Gearset for various deployments and comparisons.Other than helping to support day-to-day Salesforce changes, I had been responsible for implementing various new features, some of which are listed below:Developed new logic that extends the National Call Center team's process allowing users to view and manage their call queue's more effectively/efficiently. We reached our Salesforce data storage limit (which is costly to purchase). I developed a service layer to offload our largest data usage offenders into AWS DynamoDB in real-time. Provided service layer and VF pages to support our mobile application (Maidpro Go) for Android and IOS which enables Pros to engage with daily jobs, work orders and maps. Pros can Start/Stop jobs and provide job information back into Salesforce. Utilized Firebase to send dynamic push notifications to the phone from within Salesforce based on activities associated with the Pro or their Jobs.Provided service layer utilizing Google Cloud Storage to allow office managers to manage documents in Salesforce to be uploaded and viewed on the mobile app. This allowed for the elimination of large binders that had to be carried by Pros Utilized the Bing Map API to create VF pages to show Job and Pro information and real-time tracking of users while in service. Integrated service layer with Route4Me to provide Users with an interface to set up, schedule and manage routes for daily jobs.Created Google Cloud Functions to pull data from Salesforce, Transform it and update Google BigQuery for data analysis by data team.Created multiple custom VP page reports via Apex code utilizing Jquery Datatables, remote scripting, and standard SF constructs.Work in Classic and Lightning

I was brought into the company to examine the legacy Salesforce application that was put together without much thought for future growth. The application works, but was not built using standards or best practices. My job is to first plug up the holes, and then re-architect the system to be more robust and efficient. with just a year in, we have fixed many internal data and design issues and are in the process of cleaning up the data model and re-engineering things to allow more segregation of data as well as functionality. The original system was built without any role hierarchy with an "everyone can see everything" mentality. My role was basically the lead architect of the system. I performed the requirements/design and implementation then shared those responsibilities when we hired a second developer.Here is just some of the fun we had: - We developed REST-base service integrations with the corporate website dealing with online purchases of the ImPACT products and Training courses. - We implemented a process within Salesforce to track customer's progress through programs such as ImPACT Consulting, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. - We integrated online exams and workflow for the various programs. - We integrated with the corporate accounting package with bi-directional synchs- We manage all of the product renewal logic and outstanding invoicing emails - We had processes to mange custom, complex commission tracking and calculate Quarterly commissions for Sales agents and account managers.

The team was responsible for the technical architecture and application development for all of Highmark’s Salesforce applications which included:• Highmark Group Sales (wholesale) market• Direct Pay (Retail) market including call center and external retail stores• Provider market containing 3 applications (PRMT, RADV and PIQ)• Various applications for West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS)• Government Community Affairs• Business Innovations department • Allegheny Health Network (AHN) including their primary call center application and hospital contracting and contact application• Interfaces to various internal legacy applications for Rating and back-office support.One of our largest implementations that we completed was to add new logic to implement the retail instance with a new Retail Platform application that utilized 400 telesales agents fielding calls in anticipation of Healthcare Reform. I was responsible for the overall Salesforce Technical architecture and personally designed and developed the Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), REST Web service integration, agent call scripting and Single Sign-on (SSO) integration between the applications. In addition to the development work, I managd the progress of work, stepping in and working with enterprise architects to help resolve issues and provide status updates to appropriate managers and senior executives.When I joined the department, there were only two of us developing. I helped to build a very successful team of six developers. Together, we built the reputation of being the only team to implement on-time and within budget.

Worked as a Project Manager for the CaPES Enhanced Workflow project at Highmark in downtown Pittsburgh. This was a 7 million dollar project that utilized a large team of both local and off-shore engineers. The project goal was to streamline the existing client and product process by introducing componentized workflow to allow for more parallel operations to increase speed-to-market by allowing information consumed by downstream applications to be available earlier.

Lead Architect/Sr. Project ManagerNewly created company based on purchase of Raeder Landree Technical Group (see timeline below) for the acquisition of Tower application. • Developed application modules in C#, ASP.Net, XML with primary focus on overall review process and dynamic (template based) job description module for the application. C# applications• Established the corporate IT Infrastructure and Domain. Built servers (exchange, database, file, database and web) and workstations. • Directed the RL Technical Group, a sub-division of Raeder Landree High-Tech Placement Agency, providing in-house application development and consulting services for application development. • Acted as a technical screen for RL applicants • Researched new technologies • Managed all projects • Responsible for the development of Tower application for Marc USA, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Butler Memorial Hospital, Excela Health System and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC.Tower Application Development• Developed initial version of Tower Talent Management System for Marc USA. This version was built into the existing Marc Intranet and in-house system. This was a full-scale HR Performance Review application that interacted dynamically with an internal HRIS and Active Directory.Based on the success and overwhelming feedback we got back from Marc USA, we decided to convert the application to a stand-alone Web application and extend the capabilities to include a full Job Description module, Corporate and cascading goals, JCAHO compliance module, Survey module, and graphical reporting. Children’s hospital of Pittsburgh was our first client and after the success it achieved, our client list expanded quickly to include the following:o Summa Health System, Akron Oh - (11 hospitals)o Excela Health Systems in Greensburg Pa - (12 hospitals)o Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC - (8 hospitals)o Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler PaOne of the keys to Tower’s success was its ability to integrate itself with the various HRIS systems in use. I designed an interactive, dynamic interface that would support PeopleSoft, Lawson, Meditech and Ulti-Pro). Based on this, the integration of an organization’s existing employee and organizational structure information was as simple as performing the data map and running a procedure.

• Boden Train Control System (Sweden and Norway) Lead Engineer for team of 15 people to perform requirements/design and implementation for the complete train control system on the I.S. side. Developed a PC based Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) tool to automate the process of defining requirements from a soft-version of the customer specifications into a relational database. Defined the graphical user interface to be implemented in the system. Prototyped sample graphic screens on the UNIX system using a tool called MetaCard.• Korean National Railroad (Seoul Korea)Lead Engineer for a team of 11 engineers responsible for the configuration management of software, maintaining project schedules, hardware setup and configuration and design/implementation of various areas of the system. I spent a total of 6 months in Seoul Korea working with the client and finalizing development.• Union Pacific Railroad Designed and implemented train control functions that communicated with the railroad’s MIS system. I Performed field work in Omaha Nebraska to maintain the system.
