I've been working as a Salesforce developer for 10 years now and have touched on various ways to integrate with salesforce via custom web services as well as extending Salesforce to the cloud via integration with AWS and Google Cloud Services. I have experience with both classic and lightning and extensive customization.I’m experienced with every aspect of the software development life cycle from client requirements analysis through system implementation/integration. I’ve traveled and worked with clients around the world and have real world experience building applications from the ground up. I have the ability and patience to deal with non-technical clients which is important to acquire and convey business rules and functionality. I’ve successfully managed teams ranging in size from 3 to 15 engineers and have effective written and oral communication skills. My Management View: I believe in a structured development environment utilizing pre-existing tools where appropriate (not reinventing the wheel). I believe that there are no stupid questions and that a successful team communicates and shares skills. Most importantly, if you have a team of people that love what they do and aren’t afraid to think outside the box, then there is nothing that cannot be accomplished. My Work Ethic: Work Hard - Play HardWork-Life-Balance View: Absolutely necessary! My family is Everything to me!

Senior Salesforce Crm DeveloperImpact Applications, Inc. Sep 2014 - Dec 2016Coralville, Iowa, UsI was brought into the company to examine the legacy Salesforce application that was put together without much thought for future growth. The application works, but was not built using standards or best practices. My job is to first plug up the holes, and then re-architect the system to be more robust and efficient. with just a year in, we have fixed many internal data and design issues and are in the process of cleaning up the data model and re-engineering things to allow more segregation of data as well as functionality. The original system was built without any role hierarchy with an "everyone can see everything" mentality. My role was basically the lead architect of the system. I performed the requirements/design and implementation then shared those responsibilities when we hired a second developer. Here is just some of the fun we had: - We developed REST-base service integrations with the corporate website dealing with online purchases of the ImPACT products and Training courses. - We implemented a process within Salesforce to track customer's progress through programs such as ImPACT Consulting, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. - We integrated online exams and workflow for the various programs. - We integrated with the corporate accounting package with bi-directional synchs- We manage all of the product renewal logic and outstanding invoicing emails - We had processes to mange custom, complex commission tracking and calculate Quarterly commissions for Sales agents and account managers. -
