Working as a team with the editor-in-chief, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the weekly newspaper of the Archdiocese of Boston including its online presence, TheBostonPilot.com. I also served as the newspaper’s main creator and producer of social media and online audio, visual and multimedia content. Responsibilities include:— Developing the content, design and overall strategy of print, online and social media products.— Building relations and coordinating with communications staffs at offices, schools and related organizations of the Archdiocese of Boston. — Managing and scheduling staff reporters and freelance contributors. — Overseeing overall newspaper operations in the absence of the editor-in-chief.My work has been recognized by Catholic Press Association of the U.S. and Canada with awards for Writing (2004, 2006, 2008, 2012); Photography (2006, 2008, 2010, 2012); Website design (2008, 2009) and Multimedia Journalism (2014).

Assisted the Principals of the firm in all aspects of employee benefits consulting and insurance brokerage including: interpreting insurance company proposals for client communications, preparing and editing marketing analysis reports, resolving service issues with insurance carriers, marketing to prospective clients, interacting with insurance company representatives as well as creating newsletters, advertisements and client bulletins.
