Also repaired a number of dot matrix and laser printers.Continued this avenue through to Windows 98 and NT 4.0, then switched to servicing and programming Micros systems for hotels and restaurants using Micros proprietary operating systems and SCO Unix.I then moved back into computer networks and have been doing that ever since. From 2002 to 2012 I owned and operated a computer networking company in Milwaukee serving small and medium sized companies.My company's main focus was to provide an IT department to small and medium sized companies that could not justify an in-house IT department, or feel their IT needs demand higher skill levels and greater reliability than an in-house IT person could provide.In 2012 I took over the IT department for a national call center in Mobile, AL. I was tasked with building an entire call center infrastructure including the network wiring, phone system, access control system, alarm system, camera system, desktop management systems, application systems, internet access and reporting system, and monitoring systems to support over 200 agents in 60 days. Then over the next 3 years the company grew to 4 locations. It was my responsibility to ensure the network grew with the company, and continued to provide the same systems to all 4 locations. In March of 2015 the company closed its doors.Specialties: Currently specializing in network infrastructure and Asterisk VOIP phone systems.
