In this role I lead the creation of multimedia assets for our developer audience. I manage our Okta Developer YouTube channel and handle its growth strategy, publication, and channel maintenance. I also develop workflows, processes and documentation that is used across teams to help scale our media output and improve the production value of our creative assets. I develop guidance around filming, photography and design best practices. I lead our video editing processes and manage our post-production contractors in addition to editing media content myself. I capture photo and video content at events and utilize that to curate our proprietary media library that is used for creative deliverebles including web design, event promo, social, and paid ads. To date, I have helped build multiple video editing packages for increased scalability, published over 300 videos, edited over 100 videos, and worked with design and social teams to create design templates and implement social strategy.TL;DR, I make and manage a lot of media content, develop systems to improve scalability, and give creative guidance.
