Greg is currently AVP of Procurement and Medical Device Management for LifePoint Health a hospital company based in Brentwood, TN that manages 65 acute care facilities around the US.Before moving to to this role, Greg was Director of Spine and Orthopaedics for HealthTrust Supply Chain in the Nashville Service Center. In this position Greg has responsibility of managing the contracting and clinical operations for many of the medical devices within the TriStar Division of HCA.Group. He has also been a Director at HealthTrust Purchasing Group and specialized in custom contracting. He provided consultation with the member hospitals to help them achieve better value in their Medical Device sourcing. Before HealthTrust, Greg was in Orthopaedic implant sales for over 14 years. He began his career as a "Tech-rep" and has progressed to a Full Sales Associate, then Territory Manager. This experience involved him with professionals from a variety of backgrounds. From surgeons and hospital CEO's, to the hourly surgical staff and instrument techs. At Biomet Greg was a Territory Manager with 5 sales reps under his wing. Before that he made his name by growing the Sports Medicine line to award winning levels. This led to increased hip and knee business and becoming a specialist in extremity implants.
