General Qualifications- 8 years of experience in R&D, design engineering, analysis and testing- Experienced using Autodesk inventor 2013 and Solidworks 2013 cad packages, 13 years of 3D CAD/CAM experience as well as manual and NC mill experience, 20 years of AutoCAD experience.- Experience designing pressure vessels using ASME BPVC Section VIII Division 2 as well as high temperature creep life limited pressure vessels- Strong background in heat transfer, thermal-structural design, high temperature pressure vessel heat exchangers, heat sinks, electronics cooling, system integration and porous media- 8 years Thermal and mechanical design and analysis using 1D models (custom written) and 3D models using Ansys and Solidworks Simulation- Proficient with Ansys Fluent, Workbench, Mechanical (transient and steady coupled thermal & structural models), Solidworks Simulation (CFD and FEA packages). Proficiency includes slip joints, interference joints, crimp joint analysis, and plastic deformation- Proficient utilizing nonlinear material models in FEA and CFD analysis packages (Hardening models, viscoplastic models for 96.5Sn3.5Ag solder, and other nonlinear material models)- 8 years of experience designing cast, machined, sheet metal, and injection molded components- 8 years of professional drafting, tolerancing & statistical tolerance stackup, and GD&T background- Problem solving, product development and product test planning using FMEA, DVP&R, DFMA, 8D techniques-
