Greg is the Quality Liaison with Customer Base (Smart Phone, Test/Measurement, Hi-Rel Communications). Greg supports customer quality requirements by managing completion of Failure Analysis and Corrective Actions with Peregrine teams using 8D problem solving methodology.Greg leads cross functional teams to resolve customer FA requests and Corrective Actions. Cymer manufactures state of the art KrF, ArF and EUV lasers used as exposure sources in the the semiconductor lithography industry. Responsible for process yield improvements in the laser test area including first pass yield, rework improvements, and cycle time improvements. Led efforts on complex DOEs investigating complex process yield issues.

Responsible for quality and continuous improvement actions with discrete semiconductor suppliers for implantable defibrillators. Led on-site assessments of semiconductor manufacturing plants. Led team to implement electrical outlier control programs at suppliers.

Lead engineer on several projects in the slider air bearing division. Led team to develop customized photo stepper for recording head row bar applications. Also led team to develop and transfer a microburnish technology to Asian production factory

Responsible for photolithography manufacturing processes in thin film recording head cleanroom facility, specifically ASM and Nikon steppers and critical Reader process. Liaison with Ireland factory. Led several six sigma projects resulting in yield improvements.

Process owner of ASM DUV and Nikon I-line steppers. Process owner of thin film recording head factory critical to quality metrics in the photolithography area. Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Process owner of next generation photolithography tooling for 200mm fab: ASM scanner and DNS coat and develop track. Led team to purchase and install equipment as well as develop critical product processes.

Manager of 200mm photolithography process group in high volume 200mm semiconductor fab. Responsible for line/die yield, equipment availability, process control and volume ramp. Managed group of 4 engineers and 3 technicians, responsible for personnel issues, performance reviews, and promotions.

Worked in 200mm start up fab taking on a variety of responsibilities including process sustaining, equipment installation, process and equipment trouble shooting, process SPC controls and reactions. Experience in photolithography, plasma etch, wet etch, resist strip, and metrology.
