My life has been quite the adventure, I joined the Navy out of high school and volunteered for submarine service. I have spent over a year of my life underwater. While many would find these conditions intolerable, it has granted me key perspective and taught me the values of teamwork and learning. It has allowed me to hone my analytic and critical thinking skills.After I decided to transition into civilian life, I decided to pursue further education in environmental science with a minor in data analytics, in order to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to make a positive impact on the environment. Part of this time has been spent learning about the fascinating world of AI, where it seems like a new mind bending breakthrough is made every other day!When I am not thinking about sustainable solutions, I enjoy a good book or hiking in the woods, exploring the beauty of nature. I find that slowing down and taking the time to think carefully about a complex topic is best achieved when surrounded by fresh air and few distractions.
