As Citrix lead my responsibilities included setting direction for the corporate Citrix environment as well as overseeing operational support from the third party vendor IBM. In addition I handled severity 1 operational issues, server architecture standards, VMware administration, server solutioning for business projects and many other duties as needed by the organization.Key accomplishments include:• Lead the application delivery activities as part of a corporate divestiture. This included providing a secure TSA environment via Citrix and NetScaler Gateway as well as participating on the team who migrated the business applications to the Amazon Cloud.• Implemented XenApp 6.5/server 2008 to replace the Citrix 4.5/server 2003 environment.• Worked with challenging remote West Africa locations to improve the user experience using Citrix. This effort included site visits and working directly with the rig workers to implement both technical and process changes.• Provided cost effective, efficient workspace for offshore workers using XenApp 6.5 model for the SAP overhaul project.• Lead an effort to remediate issues on critical SQL clusters, including coordinating the Microsoft RAP engagement, multiple third party teams as well as the internal business teams.• Established a good working rapport with the business to provide specific solutions to their technical needs.
