In this senior leadership role, I was responsible and accountable for the delivery of a number of shared service capabilities across Group Operations and the wider Bank - Business Intelligence & Automation, Business Assurance, Continuous Improvement and Facilities, Security & Document Management.My role included leading a significant transformation programme targeting improved efficiency and effectiveness within the Bank’s middle and back-office. Outcomes were delivered through the implementation of Lean Operations Management techniques, process re-engineering, customer migration to digital and the introduction of Robotic Process Automation to the Bank.

Leadership of the Group's RoI Collections unit which consisted of the account management, collections and recoveries activities for the Group's Consumer, Small Business & Agri and Asset Finance portfolios. My role encompassed the development of appropriate strategies to deliver on business objectives, 3rd party management and the day-to-day leadership of this significant business unit (250 FTE). In this role, I also led the development and implementation of the Bank's Personal Insolvency strategy on foot of the passing into law of the Personal Insolvency Act 2012, which sought to radically reform Ireland's insolvency landscape. During this time I was also a member of the Insolvency Service of Ireland's Debt Solutions Steering Group and a number of industry and national initiatives focused on developing solutions for customers in financial difficulties.

As Head of Operational & Financial Performance, I developed and successfully implemented in full, a comprehensive and effective financial management and control model for the Group's HR Division.Furthermore, I established a new compliance and risk management framework and led the implementation of new operational metrics and relavant employee metrics to support executive managment decision making at Group level.

This included a complete analysis of the 'as-is' model, full assessment of best in class options and implementation of the chosen model across the Group.With specific responsibility for the management of the Programme Management Office and leadership of the RFP process, the role involved signficant engagement with senior internal stakeholders and external parties supporting the initiative.
