Sales / Product / Operations Manager

4Wd Products - Online Spare Parts Store

Sydney, Australia

From my previous experience in the automotive industry, I recognised there was a gap in the market for an online accessories and spare parts store that specialised in 4WDs. Prior to hitting the web, much time was spent researching products and creating relationships with suppliers – both local and overseas – to create a high quality product range. Whilst there were a few major online players around, market research indicated that the missing factor was knowledge and customer support. Then came finding the best people to help me ...With this in mind, I launched 4WD Products with an emphasis on supporting the customer with not only the purchase of the correct product to suit their needs, but a high level of after sales support. Extensive research into product quality and information prior to listing the parts, ensured that the customer could refer to the comprehensive description of compatible vehicles and could choose correctly. Combined with our own in-house photographer, our listings were so good that they were copied across the globe. Our reputation of accurate information and good quality parts – again, extensively researched prior to offering for sale – built a great customer rapport and many wonderful repeat customers.I'm proud to say, we nailed it!
