Brand Licensing Law, P.C. specializes in negotiations and transactional work related to the licensing of trademarks, copyrights and likenesses for monetization. I represent both brand owners who wish to build a licensing program around their IP as well as licensees who are seeking rights from large brand holders and need an industry veteran to navigate and negotiate complicated license agreements.

General Counsel and legal and business affairs head at (RED), and division of the ONE Campaign, and a non-profit focused on the fight to end AIDS in Africa. (RED) partners with iconic brands, companies and products to generate contributions to the fight, namely providing life-saving medication for individuals in several African nations to survive, and provide medication to prevent the transfer of HIV from mother to child during birth. I draft and negotiate all agreements with partners, vendors, collaborators and help (RED)'s team structure arrangements and plans to generate awareness and raise contributions to (RED)'s cause. I also oversee and manage (RED)'s intellectual property portfolio and their registered trademarks around the world. Further, I am helping to explore new areas and industries for (RED) to grow into such as new categories in consumer products, digital media, film, and business to business merchandise.

To date, have negotiated dozens of licensing agreements and financial audits and have saved clients hundreds of thousands of dollars. I have also helped grow a start-up toy company with a successful Kickstarter program and found them new retail buyers netting over six figures in new sales.
