Led cross functional team to create over mold resin combination leading to “Best in Class” distinction by VOC.• International Joint Venture Lead – Coordinated the global joint venture product launch of the Remington 40V Residential Product Line with a Chinese manufacturer for sales in North America. • Value Engineering Lead – Facilitated cost reduction activities on the CORE Professional Product Line with over 15 domestic and international suppliers realizing savings in excess of $250K annually. Conducted weekly supplier meetings and conducted multiple on-site reviews at Chinese suppliers.• Manufacturing Engineering – Executed over 25 production launches at the Mexico Maquiladora. Developed product assembly processes and procedures including brushless motor assembly, controller PCBA soldering, pneumatic presses, machining, and heat staking. Partnered with assembly team to manage labor costs, line rate, end of line testing specification development and PFMEA development. • Supply Chain Management – Managed over 50 suppliers over 25 different projects. Conducted multiple trips to China to support supplier integration, quality, first article verification testing and value engineering activities. Led weekly project reviews with domestic and international partners resolving design, cost and manufacturing obstacles.
