Gregory Saliba is a financial professional with over 25 years of experience advising corporate and individual clients. His professional expertise includes serving as Vice President of investment banking for Piper Jaffray's Debt Capital Markets Group, where he engaged in underwriting public and private debt and preferred stock for investment and non-investment grade corporations. Greg also advised and financed Northwest companies through standard bank financing, Merger and Acquisition transactions, and leveraged buyouts as a Vice President of Corporate Banking for U.S. Bank. Gregory Saliba is the 2010 Oregon Ethics in Business Award recipient in the individual category. "Oregon Ethics in Business Awards recipients have, by act and example, gone beyond the expected to achieve excellence in ethical business practices." The Portland Business Journal named Gregory Saliba as one of its "Top 40 Executives Under 40" for 2008. Greg was also a member of the 2008-09 Leadership Portland class.Gregory Saliba earned an M.B.A. from Portland State University, a M.A. in East Asian Studies from the University of Oregon, and a B.A. in History from Whitman College. He also holds NASD Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and was a Registered Representative for Piper Jaffray & Co. Gregory is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). Since 2003, Gregory has been teaching Corporate Finance and Investment Portfolio Management at Portland State University's School of Business Administration and Willamette University's Atkinson School of Business MBA program. He instructs students on debt and equity valuation, market risk and return concepts, and various analytical methodologies. Gregory had opportunities to gain extensive international experience by teaching Finance in Russia via the Free Market Business Development Institute program in 2001. He also studied Japanese history and culture at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan in 1988-89.
