Gregory S. Brown, Psy.D., currently works as the clinical neuropsychologist for the Share Military Initiative and the Complex Concussion Clinic at Shepherd Center. He is also the team neuropsychologist for Atlanta United. He completed his Clinical Neuropsychology Fellowship at Shepherd Center in 2016. Dr. Brown earned his master’s in clinical psychology in 2011 and his doctorate in clinical psychology with advanced specialty training in neuropsychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in 2014. His graduate level training included practicum experiences in the areas of neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapeutic intervention at the Center for Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University and Positive Impact, respectively. Dr. Brown also completed an advanced practicum with a focus in neuropsychological assessment at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. He completed his neuropsychology internship at the Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System. Research experience include functional neuroimaging, navigational memory, mild cognitive impairment, and memory loss. Dr. Brown also serves as adjunct faculty for the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, where he has taught since 2015.
