Reported to the CFO, led 4 direct reports and a staff of 15 team members.● Recycled Paper Greetings was acquired through a “loan to own” transaction after purchasing their debt in open market transactions during the 2008-2009 financial crisis.● Managed capital raise for Family Shareholders in Public to Private MBO/LBO. As a result of the family’s struggling acquisition process, and at their request, “stepped over the wall” with the Board’s approval to raise capital through a revised structure, negotiated and closed transaction.● Negotiated and executed several financings including public bonds, 144A, term loans, and multi-currency syndicated revolving credit facilities. Executed open market debt repurchases and tenders to improve the capital structure.● Developed and led “Intro to Finance” class as part of the corporate leadership training program.
