I am the Assistant Transit Manager for the City of Yakima. I oversee our Transit office staff, the Ellensburg-Yakima Commuter program and the ADA Paratransit program. I am also the Transit Planner, Transit Budget overseer, and NTD reporter while also securing grants for operations, design expansion and route creation, exploration, and refinement. I am currently the lead in moving Yakima Transit to a new large transit facility that will enable Yakima Transit to fulfill its duties to its citizens for the next 50 years. This larger facility will enable Yakima Transit to transition to some form of alternate fuel and replace its diesel buses in the near future. I have a Bachelors degree from Central Washington University in Geography with an emphasis on Geomorphology, Cartography and Land Use Planning. I am also the Co-Owner/General Contractor/Manager at Mammoth Properties. We rehabilitate properties for resale.
