Mr. Trout currently serves as the Managing Director of Risk Consulting. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer and President from 2008 to 2014, when he was responsible for the strategic direction and overall operation of Bickmore. Bickmore is recognized as one of the leading risk consulting and actuarial firms in the U.S., with clients in 44 states. Bickmore serves as an objective, independent consutant to over 800 public and private entities, providing them with measurements and methods to identify and reduce their costs of risk.Mr. Trout has been the lead consultant on many large state consulting projects, including ones to measure the cost of various legislative reforms and to evaluate alternative ways to finance self-insurance risks.He has also conducted, or assisted in, numerous studies for state regulatory agencies.

Mr. Trout served as President/CEO and Chairman of the Board .

Greg served as a senior consultant and partner of ARM Tech and established and managed its northern California office. During his tenure with ARM Tech, he served as the lead consultant for the creation of many risk pools and captives throughtout the U.S. Nearly all continue to operate successfully today--the Montana Municipal Insurance Authority, Housing Authority Insurance Company, Public Entity Risk Management Authority, California Housing Workers Compensation Authority and many othersHe also served as the lead consultant to the State Attorneys General in their successful anti-trust lawsuit against the insurance industry in 1996.

Mr. Trout first served as a graduate fellow with CSAC, providing risk management and self-insurance assistance to California counties. He also served as a legislative advocate on tort liability and workers compensation issues before the Calfornia State Legislature. Once he established the CSAC Excess Insurance Authority in 1979, he was appointed as its first General Manager.
