I have over 30 years of broad international experience as a C-Suite executive and entrepreneur across multiple industries including financial services, private equity, venture capital, consulting, digital marketing, brand building and exporting. I am a Director of NewtekOne (NASDAQ: NEWT) and Newtek Bank NA, and serve on all Board committees. I am also co-chair of the Compensation, Nominating and Governance Committee. Newtek provides a full suite of business solutions to the SMB market including lending (second largest 7A lender in the US), payment processing, managed technology, insurance and payroll. I was previously an EVP of Newtek responsible for all Florida operations. For 30 years, I was the CEO of NGJ Brand Solutions (NGJ), a private wellness solutions provider and distributor of Nautilus, Stairmaster and Schwinn commercial fitness equipment in Japan. I developed partnerships with some of the Japan’s largest companies including Mitsubishi Foods and Sumitomo Realty and established the Nautilus brand as the leader in its category, commanding as much as a 30% market share. NGJ also partnered with Sumitomo building the first health clubs in Japan as well as the world’s first “Nautilus Academy.”. These Nautilus Clubs utilized a NGJ developed AI smart card based fitness prescription and tracking system in 1988 that prescribed over 15 million individual workouts. I was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte and previously managed the family office and private equity portfolio of an ultra high net worth family. I was also a partner in a Florida based venture capital firm that invested in over 100 SMBs and the turnaround CEO of a digital marketing company, growing the business over four years and selling it for 3 times sales. I am an entrepreneur at heart and enjoy working with other entrepreneurs and lower middle market executives to grow their businesses and achieve their dreams. I started my career at General Electric and am a graduate of their Financial Management Program (FMP). I have a BS in Finance from Penn State and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
