CurrentAdvises teams of Teradata and partner technology consultants and engineers responsible for the assessment, enablement, and optimization of analytic applications built on Teradata. ▪ Applies system analysis, performance assessment, big data, and problem-solving expertise to consult with Teradata strategic software partners in the analytics space. ▪ Supports hundreds of SAS & Teradata customers globally with optimization strategies. SAS applications drive more than $100M of utilization on Teradata platforms annually. ▪ Embedded with SAS Institute Development Teams to provide technical guidance that enhances the integration of SAS & Teradata technologies; Focus on efficient and secure data access, leveraging in-database processing to reduce data movement and improve the performance of analytic workflows.▪ Developed and supported the SAS Embedded Process engine which runs SAS models in the Teradata database, a solution adopted by dozens of joint customers to operationalize SAS statistical, AI, and ML models at scale.▪ Guided customers to refactor processes from using SAS code only to using SQL running in the database, reducing processing time from hours to seconds and significantly reducing data movement from 100’s of millions of rows to 1000’s of rows.▪ Leads project lifecycles and builds a roadmap of success grounded in technical best practices.▪ Mentors cross-functional teams to advance partner integration strategies and best practices.▪ Led performance tests as a Senior Benchmark Analyst for Teradata. Competitive benchmark win-rate consistently over 80% contributed to acquiring no less than 100 significant new Teradata customers/footprints with $300M+ of influenced revenue.• Vertical movement for 15+ years with NCR Corporation before it acquired Teradata Corporation, engaging with customers as new products team lead, major account support specialist, and UNIX server benchmark analyst.
