The Helm Group is the parent company of Helm Truck and Equipment as well as Helm Civil, Helm Engineering, Helm Materials, Helm Mechanical and Helm Service. • Helm Truck and Equipment owns, manages and maintains all construction equipment and trucks as well as quarry aggregate production equipment and asphalt plants operated by its sister companies. The fleet is deployed throughout the northwestern Illinois and Quad Cities regions.• Complete operational and financial responsibility for the acquisition, management, maintenance, repair and disposal of all construction equipment and trucks described above. • Oversee management of Helm Truck and Equipment on-highway truck, construction equipment and agricultural equipment, parts, service and sales business for external (non Helm Group) customers. • Manage a staff of 30 persons including general manager, service, parts and sales managers, technicians, parts personnel and admin staff.• Manage the on-highway fleet owned by all sister Helm companies consisting of in excess of 500 vehicles. Responsible for acquisition and disposal as well as repair, maintenance and fueling activities. The fleet is deployed throughout the Midwest.
