I still remember the book…….“Awaken the Giant within” by Anthony Robbins. I picked it up at the airport on the way to my annual holiday break and couldn’t put in down. I was not even half way through when I made a decision that I would make the move into a life of ……doing something that I love and that makes a difference. That itch begun in 1998.So in 2003, I jumped out of a safe 19 year banking/tax career and joined fellow Financial Planner, Geoff Whitehorn, in establishing our own Financial Planning business - Whitehorn Polglase Financial Advisers. Unfortunately, after a 15 year professional business partnership, Geoff was struck down with cancer and was forced to retire before passing away in August 2018.
