My roles are equally split between corporate responsibilities and physical design. As a founding partner in the firm I manage most business transactions including financial management, strategic planning, and corporate vision. These roles would include typical CEO, CFO, and COO duties wrapped into one. These duties include overlooking capital acquisitions, tool and machine purchases, facility systems/utilities, regulatory compliance, lease negotiations.I help guide the overall company vision, yearly and quarterly goals and long-term strategy. I also spend equal time on product and process invention including sustainable design, value engineering, and product invention. I have a deep understanding of manufacturing techniques and efficient manufacturing protocol. These areas of understanding include: material science, material manufacturing, composites, wood, metal, plastics production methods, microcontrollers, CNC fabrication techniques, adhesives, etc.Proficient in Adobe Suite, Office Suite, Quickbooks, Python, Smartsheets, Wordpress, Windows Domain Management, Sonicwall, Polycom, Windows, Mac, Windows Server, and Windows Domains.

Bender Brothers specialized in retail visual marketing solutions. Clients included Apple, Gap, AEO, Burberry, Levis, Google, etc. Bender Brothers was responsible for almost all window displays produced and installed in every Apple store globally from 2002 thru 2008. We worked close to Steve Jobs and Ron Johnson to help the vision of Apple manifest into physical environments.Expanded business from $250K in annual revenue to several millions dollars. Managed a team of 10+ higher level managers and overlooked 40,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities. Overall employing 25-100 production employees depending on time of year.Helped to engineer and optimize projects for clients including environmental design.Liaison with clients as Sr. Account Executive.

Chico, California Area

Built award winning snowboard brand from the ground up starting in my backyard in Los Altos as a teenager. Was one of the most coveted brands in the sport. During this time created several inventions/materials now adopted and commonly used by both the snowboard and ski industry. Was also the first person to create a modern day twin tip ski by combining snowboard shapes into a pair of twin tip skis. Twin tip skis are now the norm and these early designs are the basis of modern day twin tip skiing.Produced snowboards for other brands on an OEM basis. We also pressed and built skateboards on an OEM basis for Comet skateboards as well as other skateboard brands.The snowboard industry went thru a major consolidation in late 90s. At that time we made the decision to wind down the company to pursue more lucrative opportunities and generally to move on with my career. I continue to make snowboards to this day but as a hobby.
