I serve as one of two consumer members of the Florida Electrolysis Council which ensures that every electrologist and electrology facility in this state of Florida meets minimum requirements for safe practice. The Electrolysis Council is responsible for licensing, monitoring, and educating electrologists to assure competency and safety to practice in Florida. The Council, under the supervision of The Florida Board of Medicine (BOM), is responsible for advising the BOM on the discipline of any violations of the profession's regulations.

I gathered information and evidence in establishing probable cause against a respondent of unlicensed activity complaints. I conducted surveillance on individuals as well as establishments using undercover investigative techniques to gather information for my investigations. Once the probable cause was established I would issues cease and desists orders and well as citations pursuant to Florida statutes. Through my work as a Medical Quality Assurance Investigator, I developed relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies which resulted in participating in several multi-jurisdictional operations.Enforced terms of Disciplinary Enforcement Requests and cooperates with Board staff members.
