Supervise contract labor force for incoming inspection and non-conforming material (NCM) operations.QUALITY - Evaluate discrepant material defect sources (internal, supplier, design). - Facilitate weekly calls with key suppliers to cover quality issues. - Monitor test data (internal as well as provided by key suppliers) for troubleshooting and quality monitoring activities. - Develop and implement semi-automated Excel macro-based Statistical Process Control tool and process for critical test variables. - Troubleshoot key data transfer issues from suppliers to Motorola Solutions (e.g. missing product parent/child linkage and Ethernet address issues). - Coordinate formal MCAR (Material Corrective Action Reporting) activities with suppliers. - Manage mechanical gauge calibration.INVENTORY - Manage over $2M in non-conforming material. - Coordinate material RMA (return material authorization), OSP (further process requests), and scrap transactions for discrepant material. - Develop, document, implement, and manage discrepant material-related business process flows. - Generate Excel macro-based automated data collection and reporting of NCM inventory key metrics. - Utilization of Project R scripts to perform mass Statistical Process Control efforts. - Develop Python scripts to pull data from Oracle databases and internal websites to identify potential problematic units. - Repair material on-site where possible.
