As General Manager of Southeast Operations with Bi-State Insulation, I’m heading up business operations for the leading mechanical insulation and lagging contractor. Bi-State Insulation specializes in industrial & commercial insulation projects serving aerospace, food & beverage processing, power generation, Ethanol/bio-diesel, pulp & paper industry, institutional & governmental buildings, and schools.  In this role, I’m responsible for leading business development, project estimating, and project management across the Kentucky and Tennessee region. I’m leveraging my extensive knowledge in the mechanical insulation industry and experience in commercial & industrial markets, and manufacture of removable blankets, to serve our clients’ needs. Key contributions include: • Focuses on building trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders and ensuring projects are completed according to customer specifications and requirements• Develops and implements operational strategies to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, cost reduction, and increased profitability• Ensures company services, programs, and projects meet and exceed customer expectations and industry standards • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure daily region operations align with company objectives

As Business Development Representative, I was responsible for generating business opportunities in the removable insulating blanket market, industrial & commercial insultation, industrial cleaning, scaffolding, and nuclear insulation, ensuring projects were estimated on according to budget and on schedule. In this role, I partnered with national contractors and assisted in securing various maintenance and hard dollar contracts throughout the United States and abroad. I also focused on ensuring projects were estimated competitively & timely, closed on profitable business opportunities, and worked with Operations Department to ensure successful execution of projects. Key responsibilities included: • Collaborated cross-functionally with Marketing Department to launch new products and expand current product line• Managed and maintained the overall safety program for the branch recognized for achieving zero recordable incidents• Managed contracts nationally for Insulation Division and assisted Industrial Cleaning Division contract negotiation• Provided leadership by serving as Competent Person for asbestos removal activities in State of Kentucky & Illinois• Developed first-of-its-kind in the US application to measure removable covers; collaborated with IT & Marketing from storyboard approval to launch and use; developed training programs for the application • Pioneered partnership with Marine Division developing database and designs to be used globally in US Navy ships; improved how maintenance will be performed on ships at sea• Oversaw development of manufacturing facility for removable insultation covers and assisted in developing growth plan; managed the relocation of removable cover factory from Kentucky to Texas• Performed energy audit utilizing the 3E Plus Program; headed project with Arkema France based company upgrading the entire main steam system for the plant located in Calvert City, KY

I served as Branch Manager responsible for overseeing daily business operations of originating mortgage loans, including originating FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, and home equity lines of credit. In this role, I coordinated services for clients between local attorneys, bankers, and state agency representatives to assure closure of loans. Additionally, I supported the successful transition from Pathway Financial to Southwest Funding LP.

I provided leadership as Loan Originator responsible for originating retail real estate loans and placing with investors. This position involved developing a growing realtor and banker referral base for loans. I also focused on generating personal contact with several lenders and account representatives to identify business opportunities. In addition, I increased sales revenue by developing a larger lender base and with more aggressive programs.

As Construction Manager, I was responsible for directing a construction and development company specializing in development of government housing and apartment construction/rehab. In this role, I received funding approval for rental projects written and submitted during several funding cycles with Kentucky Housing Corporation using blend of private and federal monies. Additionally, I assisted numerous clients in obtaining home financing through Federal programs, including USDA, Kentucky Housing Corporation, FHA, and Fannie Mae. Key contributions included: • Liaised between client, local attorneys, bankers, and state agency representatives to assure the successful closure of loans• Acted as general contractor for several homes and commercial properties in Western Kentucky via government programs• Maintained responsibility for grant writing to generate additional funding for the successful completion of projects

I provided leadership as a Mechanic / Foreman in the Insulator Union of 250 members. In this role, I maintained a license to remove asbestos and lead base paint. I also collaborated in assisting development of the computer system to calculate heat loss in power plants and chemical plants.

I served as Warehouseman / Asbestos Remover for an insultation company holding contracts with power plants and chemical plants. This position involved managing the warehouse and delivering materials to jobsites. In addition, I assisted with inventory and organized materials for the ease of access.
