Develop a new process for Global Warranty Parts Returns. Created a single point facility to review parts returned under warranty, test and confirm the failure and assign to the rightful owner. Work globally with engineering teams in Germany, Australia, Korea and Mexico to ensure that each issue is quickly root caused and corrective actions are put in place. Work with GM Dealer Network to update service procedures, identify the source of the customer’s concern and reduce unnecessary repairs. This new process shortens lead-time to implement changes, lowers the number of vehicles affected, and greatly reduces warranty cost during the crucial first six months of a new vehicle introduction.

Developed the pre-production assembly process and layouts for the 2005 GMT201 Cross-over utility vehicle. Traveled extensively to Toluca, Mexico as the Manufacturing Liaison to the Product Design Team. Led the manufacturing team for the design, build, installation and tuning of all chassis assembly tooling for the GMT201, managing a budget of $6 million over an 18 month time frame. Worked closely with tier one equipment suppliers in the design and development of chassis assembly tooling. Interfaced with installation contractors, skilled trades, production trainers and hourly workers throughout the assembly process. Presented the assembly process to the launch management team. Mentored the junior project engineer.
