About Gregory Scopel

CURRENT:My electronic/interactive/educational toy, for children and hobbyist alike, now has the patent pending status. Also, I've been able to apply my knowledge of many different fields, to the process of the design and development; such as lighting/optics, 3D modeling, materials, prototyping, and electronics.o My last twenty years work experience include developing manual and automated data acquisition (DAQ), measurement, control, and verification systems using NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, Visual Basic, and/or C/C++. In these systems, multiple types of serial communication protocols were employed, e.g. GPIB, RS-232, I2C, and SPI.o In addition, I am well versed in laboratory practices, procedures, and methodologies; therefore I am comfortable in both the laboratory and office environments. I have collaborated with various cross-functional project teams and external test houses; this includes acting as a liaison between R&D and manufacturing teams.
