• Manage startup medical device company’s test engineering lab for preclinical trial product, known as an Intravascular Ventricular Assist System (iVAS) with its implantable IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump).• iVAS product Subject Matter Expertise (SME). * Reviewed, modified, and executed (dry-ran) electrical and mechanical verification procedures to ensure the testing and the procedural document met and/or exceeded customer’s requirements for their medical device product

* Manually performed verification and validation (V&V) on AC and DC motors; for both military and commercial aerospace vehicles. V&V testing methodologies adhered to MIL specifications and FAA guidelines. Acquired parametric data included the following: motor torque (peak, breakaway, and sensitivity), motor constant, and no load speed

* Develop and manage verification test strategies and test plan activities associated with wired and wireless communications monitoring products of energy usage for both business and residential customers.

* Worked on two short-term projects at LORD. First project was to develop an automated test routine, using NI LabVIEW programming language, which communicated with device under test (DUT) via CAN network. In addition, the test routine logged the DUT status and measurement data to TDMS file structure. In the second project, authored validation protocol for existing in-house automated acceptance testing software.

* Performed manual and automated system software and hardware testing of proprietary technology platform based on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology.* Performed exploratory (unscripted) ad hoc and directed testing.* Executed validation test protocols, including system validation protocols and software validation protocols. * Assisted in the developed of safety critical software for fire detection and suppression systems for the aerospace industry. Specifically responsible for aircraft Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) embedded software verification as well as assisted software and electrical design development teams. Software verification was strictly guided by RTCA/DO-178A (Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).* Verified fire detection and suppression LRU embedded software and design functionality.* Wrote and modified National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand test system environment to aid in the LRU verification process.* Wrote and reviewed software verification test case and procedure documents and processes.* Developed software metric status plans for Boeing Commercial Aviation on a bi-weekly basis.

* Verified and validated in-house charge-coupled device (CCD) imaging research systems and products by editing and writing validation plans and reports as per FDA guidelines.* Wrote and executed software validation testing scripts. Test scripts were executed on automated cancer detection image and data analysis system.* Gained experience with cellular and molecular stains used in cell tissue samples and the CCD/microscope imaging system algorithms measuring and analyzing them.

Utilized standard/specialized test and diagnostic equipment such as LVDT, OAI optical sensor, flowmeters, vernier and dial calipers, and optical microscopes.
