During this time, I worked with project teams to facilitate the integration of Edwards and Kelcey's infrastructure into Jacobs Architecture, and had the opportunity to build relationships with Jacobs IT staff. Responsibilities and accomplishments included:• Traveled extensively to help integrate offices• Supported servers in the north-east region• Supported Altiris (the help desk and endpoint management software)• Worked with endpoint management team and management to develop the Global Infrastructure Group.

At Edwards and Kelcey I worked with the central core IT team of talented individuals, many that I still work with today. Working as manager in this mid sized company of 23 offices required a diverse range of IT abilities. A challenge well suited to my previous experience in consulting. In addition to my technical responsibilities at Edwards and Kecley I created and implemented company IT policy and standards, recommended and implemented software, and managed regional part and full time IT staff. Responsibilities and accomplishments included:• Designed installed and managed Edwards and Kelsey’s first enterprise Virus and Anti-spam protection solutions• Supported and installed Microsoft infrastructure including Exchange, Anti-spam, and 2003 Active Directory• Reduced annual mobile costs by $150,000 by identifying a more cost effective plan with the current vendor at the time.

Developed and executed aggressive growth strategy for a small start-up company that helped grow the business from 2 to 25 employees with over $1 million in annual revenue. Created and lead four different divisions as the company grew. Working for a small IT consulting company helped me to acquire the managerial and technical skills required to satisfy a broad base of clients.

Handled all business functions of systems and network operations including design, installation, configuration, and purchasing for a small company. Managed the AMEX dial in service, a customized service for low volume, high dollar amount vendors wanting to accept American Express.
