Escalate Media was a performance based digital marketing company that utilized curated content, influencer partnerships and best in class technology to help our advertising partners build and manage their customer acquisition programs, digital coupon campaigns, and brand loyalty strategies. The company has been sold to Vix Media.

I was recruited to build out the presence for Conversant in the Midwest, starting with Chicago. During my time here, I was responsible for planning and executing the sales and service strategy for Conversant’s Display, Lead Generation and Mobile advertising platforms in the Central Region. I inherited a team of 3, and built it out to a team of over 20 before acquiring another Chicago company and meshing the teams. I also opened a new expanded office in Chicago, and opened two new regional offices in Minneapolis and Scottsdale, AZ.

AS SVP, I was responsible for building and managing the sales and client services teams for this early stage health related digital marketing company. Our specific disease state communities gave patients, healthcare professionals, and caregivers a forum to discuss, comfort and care for their conditions. During my short time there, revenues increased by 50% and we reached profitability.

Originally founded as Coolsavings, a digital coupon marketing company, I was part of the leadership team that expanded our capabilities that would lay the foundation to become one of the largest performance marketing companies in the space. During my time there, we experienced 3 straight years of triple digit revenue growth, re-branded the company, took the company private, and then eventually sold the company to Landmark Communications.

As VP of Sales, my team grew the company from an early stage listing site with a great URL, to the largest apartments listing site in the real estate space. As a part of the leadership team, I was involved with the product planning, marketing and sales strategy that set the road map for what the company is today.

Entertainment Publications provides private-labeled savings programs with high-value discount and promotional products that engage and reward consumers at the right time. During my tenure, I managed a team that represented Chicago and Northern Indiana.
