• Architected and coded a java application to aid multinational companies in global IT risk management planning
• Provided visual, multi-factor search of 25,000+ interlinked records from three XML files
• Applied streaming XML parsing, multi-threading, and indexing to minimize latency while managing memory use
• Used Apache POI to export search results from java runtime objects to.xls for a comprehensive matrix view of the selected data, and to an.xls object-mapping format for uploading data into the OpenPages platform

• Econometric Analysis of Chinese Character Learning on Skritter.com
• Modeled the probability that a learner will forget a character at a certain time after review. A key factor underpinning the site's spaced repetition algorithm learning system.
• Analyzed over 15 million data points from 3,000+ learners
• Created database (mySQL), web dashboard (php, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS), export scripts (PHP, SQL), and econometric software scripting (STATA) to support research and analysis
• Successfully identified inconsistencies between algorithm design and actual outcomes, demonstrating opportunity for enhanced learner productivity

• Bought and sold $15,000 worth of used textbooks from students
• In order to use my time more effectively I wrote some code to collect data from campus bookstore, schedule of classes, and final exam schedule.
• Armed with insight from the data I collected, I went out and focused my time buying books based on class size, book price, department, course level, and exam date.

• This elite school rated me as a top teacher on a staff of nearly 50.

• Ran marketing drive that secured favorable contracts for 12 teachers with prestigious schools and government organizations
