The Lead Solutions Architect is responsible for professionally designing and implementing functional network infrastructure, as well as assigning and monitoring the Service Board. They lead the department of 6 team members in weekly and one-on-one meetings and are responsible for designing and delivering training presentations to the sales team. The Lead Solutions Architect sets yearly goals for the department to ensure constant improvement in procedures and productivity. They are also responsible for discovering what technical information is needed from the client during the on-boarding process, and ensuring the needs of the team, sales team, and customers are met.The Senior Network Engineer position at TeleComp, required one to expertly configure and install software, servers, routers, network switches, VOIP equipment, and other network devices. Test and monitor network/product performance and integrity. Adeptly address user requirements through knowledge transfer and understanding client requirements. Expanded the WAN from a few locations to 22 branches and a data center with multiple virtual machines while working at McGeorge. Utilized creative solutions such as Air-Fiber and worked with local leaders to route to high-speed providers to overcome geographical challenges while coordinating locations. Flexibility and responsiveness were required to meet the river boats at various locks and stopping points, often at odd hours and sometimes with less than an hour notice, to troubleshoot and repair any issues. Oversaw the design and implementation of the technology install plan for three new 6,000hp 165ft boats commissioned by PBSGC, coordinated the purchase and delivery of products, and worked with contractors to complete the build. Collaborated with the VOIP Administrator and a team of 4 in the department, as well as 20 or more independent contractors from Houma, LA to Columbia, MO, to overhaul the company phone system and connect all 22 locations.
