My expertise in eminent domain acquisition began with over 15 years working at MassDOT. I also work extensively with cities and schools all over the state, as well as with the Corps of Engineers. I have appraised many high value estates that have been involved in dispute or divorce litigation. Appraisal assignments such as special purpose properties, multi-tenanted retail and office centers, apartment complexes, large tracts of land, and simple single family dwellings have been developed.LEGAL EXPERTISEI have testified and been accepted as an expert witness over 50 +/- times in all levels of the legal system, including U.S. Federal Court and U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I have qualified and successfully testified in all of the Superior Courts, as well as the majority of District and Probate Courts. Testimony has ranged from divorce valuations to complex partial takings with significant severance damages to the remaining property. In the case of Eminent Domain takings, I have provided appraisals for affected parties, taking authorities, and land owners.
