I am an experienced Fire Inspector with certifications from ICC, NFPA, and the NFA. I also hold an IAAI-FIT certification for Fire and Arson Investigation. I currently lead the Fire Inspectors for the City of Aurora, Colorado, the state’s third largest city, with over 9000 commercial properties under our jurisdiction. I have extensive experience as an aviation maintenance manager, instructor, and supervisor. I have expertise in management, safety, and teaching first-time learners. I am a complex problem-solver who is excellent at time management, communicating with others, and have great attention to detail. I have been recognized for my ability to motivate and manage groups of up to 230 personnel across multiple job specialties to provide positive, on-time results.
