A college internship in my Senator’s office turned into a 26 year career in Congress and the Executive Branch.I coordinated policy recommendations and strategies, budgets, and office personnel for two Senators, a Senate Committee, and as a Federal agency chief of staff. I watched policy and strategy discussions in meetings with top policymakers. President Clinton, Vice President Gore, First Lady Hillary Clinton, Cabinet Secretaries, and many United States Senators. After 26 years, I joined a Washington, DC law firm, supporting non-profit telemedicine organizations. I grew the telehealth non profit, the Center for Telehealth and e-Health Law, merging my management, policy, strategic, and entrepreneurial experience to help establish CTeL as the independent voice for safe telemedicine. While I continue to serve CTeL in a part time, advisory capacity, as financial comptroller and strategist, I now work with professionals seeking time and stress freedom. Why Passive Income Strategist?I watched law firm partners work 60 hours a week for their income. The trade off? They arrived early, left late, and scheduled time for their family. I’ve interacted with doctors who suffer from a 40 percent burnout factor. Many doctors have no time to enjoy life, their families, or the benefits of their income. The common denominator with many professionals? Comfortable income, but no time for life, their families, or the benefits of their income. Many professionals know they need a better way. When they are "sick and tired" of being "sick and tired," I show them an alternative. My commute is to my home office. Two dog walks during the day. And a spin on my exercise bike. I choose my colleagues and build a travel-related passive income asset. Professional satisfaction, travel, and financial freedom through passive income assets are my goals. And to be with colleagues who share my passions and seek the same objectives.
