Manage the Merger and Acquisitions function of the company. • Spearhead company-wide merger and acquisitions function, reporting to the CFO and working in close concert with senior executives and private equity owners, to develop the strategic roadmap of acquisition targets based upon operational synergy, multiple expansion opportunities, price, etc. • Manage the identification and screening of a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets that are aligned with the strategic priorities of the business. • Contact and pursue targeted companies as well as third parties, including bankers. • Review, analyze and develop a strategic business case for each acquisition in partnership with an executive sponsor from the business (typically C-suite) and private equity owner support. • Provide quantitative support for annual operating plan and investment activities as well as revenue and expense synergies. • Support operational due diligence, including market strength, technology analyses, competitive position, and operational effectiveness to validate growth and performance improvement initiatives. • Drive and monitor acquisition success KPIs and Value Creation Plan metrics post-closing. • Oversee / manage the acquisition integration and seamless transition. • Lead and support the refinement of integration and corporate development playbooks that incorporate prior experience and industry best practices across all key functional areas. • Assist with financing processes as needed. • Support CEO and CFO with organic growth and other strategic initiatives at the Company.
