Senior Client Services Manager
CurrentGreg Tieman, PG, LRS, has 30 years experience in environmental consulting. As Senior Client Services Manager, Greg assists clients with environmental assessment and remediation, Brownfields economic redevelopment, environmental due diligence associated with property transactions, solid and hazardous waste management, and litigation support. He was in the first group of individuals to become a Licensed Remediation Specialist (LRS) in WV in 1998 and has obtained Certificates of Completion (COC) at 11 Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) sites, and currently has several sites entered into the VRP and the UECA. Greg currently serves as the Chair of the Allegheny Mountain Section of the AWMA, a member of the Environmental Committee of the American Railway Development Association (ARDA), and represents the WV Chamber of Commerce on the WVDEP Technical Subcommittee that is updating the VRP Guidance Manual. Greg’s areas of expertise include:• Investigations of environmental media, including soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment under various federal and state programs, including RCRA, Superfund, and state voluntary cleanup programs• Design and implementation of groundwater hydrogeologic monitoring networks• Design and implementation of soil gas vapor intrusion investigations• Preparation of Remedial Action Plans (RAPs) for the remediation of soil, groundwater, and sediment• Performance of human health and ecological risk assessments• Development and implementation of site characterization and remediation plans at PCB contaminated sites under the federal Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)• Performance of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)• Assessment, remediation, and closure of leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites • Design of solid and hazardous waste landfill expansions and closur
