My key responsibilities include:Strategic Vision and CollaborationI develop and align the Enterprise Architecture vision and strategy with Aflac’s mission and objectives, influencing immediate technology solutions and long-term goals.Governance and LeadershipAs the Architecture Governance Board chair, I ensure the effective and efficient use of IT resources, steering architecture, and portfolio decisions to support our long-term business strategy.Architectural Evolution As the leader of the creation and evolution of the EA function, I coordinate business, information, technical, and solution architecture viewpoints to ensure continuous alignment with evolving demands and advancements.Roadmap Alignment and Trend AnalysisPartnering with business and IT leaders, I align architecture roadmaps with business goals and best practices. I identify and analyze enterprise business drivers and industry trends to proactively address potential impacts.Operational Excellence and ComplianceI analyze our current business and IT environment, detect deficiencies, and recommend improvement solutions. I also ensure optimal governance and compliance, managing waivers and guiding the organization through regulatory landscapes.Implementation and ConsultationDeveloping and overseeing the EA implementation plan, I ensure its execution, ongoing refinement, and thorough documentation of all EA design and analysis work.I drive technological innovation through these efforts, aligning IT strategies with business objectives to foster sustainable growth and efficiency.
