This role focused on increasing collaboration in community development and health promotion activities within the City of Melbourne. I was responsible for coordinating activities that aligned with the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, and managing Council’s role in the Primary Care Partnership.

Managed a multi-disciplinary team of 7 staff across 4 community health sites to provide community asthma education and support to improve children’s and communities’ management of asthma which decreased the rate of presentation to the Royal Children’s Hospital for those in the program by 25%. The program was also successful in receiving the Innovation and Excellence in Primary Health Care Direct Service Award (2005).
