Gregory Vasse is a Director, Critical Access Hospital Quality Improvement Network at Foundation for Healthy Communities. Colleagues describe him as "•Greg’s initial position at the ARC was CEO of the SE Michigan Blood Services Region in February 1998. This region was on the “watch” list for a number of challenges - finances, compliance, blood collections, customer service, and employee turnover. Within four years, the region was removed from the watch list, and continues to thrive. •In early 2005, Greg was responsible for closing the Area offices and moving regions into an entirely new Division structure. In his role as Senior Vice President, he worked tirelessly with the newly appointed division Vice Presidents and CEO’s to integrate the Six Strategic Priorities of Blood Services into the individual plans of each of his five Divisions. •Greg is intellectually intelligent, but also possesses emotional intelligence-people acumen, integrity, trust-building behaviors. He puts people before strategy-which has made him the success he is today. He is self-aware, the consummate professional, persistent, self-motivated, has empathy and is socially adept. He is always searching for a new approach and new ways to learn from others.
